Anne - United Against Dementia

Anne - United Against Dementia was designed to connect the player with the character they were inhabiting. Relatability was paramount to the design, and so this is reflected in the level design for the project. The level is an attractive yet typical British suburban house, its dimensions based on real world data, intended to invoke a sense of familiarity in the player. Photographs and personal affects adorn the level, reminding us of the humanity of the character, as well as the loved ones who are also effected by Dementia. Light, sound, and UI cues are used to steer the player towards their goals and give structure to the narrative.
