Brigport Dagger

A shoot ‘em up game with role playing elements, the player must sail their ship through the waters of the Seven Seas, collecting Booty and fighting Pirates as they go. The player must progress through multiple levels, each with its own theme and culminating with a boss battle, where the player must defeat a dreaded pirate lord and claim their bounty. The player can upgrade their ship, from simple Dinghy to Ironclad battleship, with the Booty they collect, allowing them to survive the increasing level of difficulty as the game progresses. Ultimately, the player must defeat all 7 of the pirate lords, and one super secret bonus level, to bring peace to the 7 seas once more, or become their new tormentor. This game is designed for pretty much everybody. Some themes might not be suitable for really young players, however things will be kept light enough that most kids can enjoy the game. Ultimately the game mechanics and aesthetic should be engaging and appealing to a mass market across all sectors.
