Viu

Viu is a prototype for a language learning app which incorporates elements of game design to facilitate learning and encourage repeated user engagement. While apps such as Duolingo use elements of gamification to encourage their users to engage with the app, these prototypes aim to show that further steps could be taken to increase language learning efficacy by teaching the language through the use of games.

Two Prototypes were developed for this project, one mid-fi, showing how the app would function with two early level examples, and the other illustrating the level design for an expanded level which the Player would need to navigate in later stages of the app.
