Eucrasia
In Eucrasia, the player takes on the mantle of Watchman during the Great Plague of 1665, and must balance the needs of the village in their care against their own. Mainz Gladius
The Mainz Gladius was forged in 15 BC and was likely used in the eastward expansion of the Roman Empire until falling into the River Rhine under unknown circumstances. An iconic symbol of the Roman Empire, this sword, now held in the British Museum, has been copied time and time again over it’s storied history. Here is my attempt to capture this blade, working from a replica reference.
Role: Modeller, Texture Artist
Tools Used: Maya, Substance 3D Painter
Artefact
The project that started it all. This is my first foray into the world of virtual creativity, and so it will always hold a special place in my creative journey. A powerful weapon from a culture long disappeared from the universe, the Artefact has long been coveted by the galaxy’s denizens over the aeons. Having passed through so many hands, claws, tentacles, and manipulator fields, it is doubtful it’s original creator would even recognise it, however it still brings unimaginable power to those brave enough to claim it as their own.
Role: Modeller
Tools Used: Alias, VRED
